About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ICT Network Design Specialist to join our Technology Systems Team at WSP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering complex ICT solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver ICT network solutions for major projects
  • Produce detailed drawings, specifications, and design reports for ICT solutions
  • Provide specialist ICT advice on ICT infrastructure, active networks, and wireless solutions
  • Support projects in the construction phase through site inspections, testing, and commissioning
  • Conduct wireless network modelling and provide technical project delivery and management
  • Collaborate with engineering disciplines to ensure ICT networks support their services
  • Participate in knowledge-sharing activities to extend and share own expertise
  • Contribute to the development of engineering support tools and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders
Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or work-based experience
  • RCDD certification or equivalent
  • DCDC certification or equivalent
  • Typically, years of experience in technology and project delivery
  • Previous experience leading and delivering ICT and communications projects
  • Proficiency in VISIO and good understanding of Wi-Fi design principles
