Strengthening Research Capacity in Occupational Therapy: A Collaborative Opportunity
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement research strategies to enhance the Occupational Therapy department's clinical capabilities.
- Mentor staff and postgraduate students in research skill development, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Identify, secure, and manage internal and external research grants to drive evidence-based practice.
- Design, implement, and evaluate quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes.
- Establish and promote evidence-based clinical guidelines and policies to ensure best practices.
- Postgraduate degree in Occupational Therapy with current registration as an Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registered health practitioner.
- Master's or PhD in a relevant area, with a strong publication history demonstrating research leadership.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in occupational therapy, recognized as a clinical expert.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
