Job Title: Veterinary Education Expert

We are seeking a talented Veterinary Education Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality teaching materials, as well as participating in clinical activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of teaching materials, including lectures, tutorials, seminars, practical classes, demonstrations, workshops, student field excursions, clinical sessions, and studio sessions.
  • Develop innovative teaching methods and participate in high-quality research within the fields of veterinary education or small animal medicine.
  • Undertake additional advanced training within the field of veterinary education or referral small animal medicine to develop future clinical or teaching activities.
  • Participate in the Small Animal Medicine or Oncology referral service at the hospital.
  • Develop course material, undertake unit coordination, and consult with undergraduate, postgraduate, and HDR students.
  • Contribute to the College, the University, the profession, and the discipline through academic contribution development reviews.
Requirements:
  • PhD or equivalent qualification in veterinary education or a related field.
  • Experience in teaching and research within the field of veterinary education or small animal medicine.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
