About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Applications Testing Scientist to join our Australind Laboratories team in the Asia Pacific (APAC) Technical Services group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate laboratory and process equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Investigate customer issues and complaints, from simple to complex, and provide actionable solutions.
  • Collect and analyze laboratory data to support product improvements, new product launches, and market expansion.
  • Develop new test methods for internal and external customers globally.
  • Perform lab-level application testing in paints, plastics, and paper.
  • Collaborate with all departments to support quality, operational excellence, and value creation.
About You:

We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Science, majoring in Chemistry and/or Material Science, and at least 5 years of laboratory experience. You should be adaptable to changing work priorities and able to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Strong communication skills are essential for team meetings and work planning. You should also have an aptitude for working with mechanical equipment and troubleshooting processing issues.
