Underground Drill and Blast Engineer Position

This role involves contributing to the success of our gold mining operations in Western Australia by providing expertise in underground drilling and blasting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing effective drilling plans aligned with project schedules
  • Ensuring adherence to project safety protocols and quality control standards
  • Managing contractor databases and tracking operational performance indicators
  • Participating in process improvements and proposing business improvement initiatives

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in engineering, preferably in mining, and relevant experience in underground mine engineering.

They should possess strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to work closely with production operations to achieve drill and blast excellence.
