Job Opportunity: Senior Engineering Leader

 

Our organization seeks a seasoned leader to head our Data Chapter in Business Banking. This role will oversee a team responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing data platforms used to drive business outcomes.

 

The ideal candidate will be an effective leader who fosters a culture of quality, excellence, and openness. They will excel at identifying technology limitations and developing scalable solutions to drive business growth.

 

Responsibilities include leading a team that creates, manages, and optimizes data platforms, drives thought leadership, people management, capability uplift, continuous improvement, and ensures teams are inspired to deliver impactful work.

 

The successful candidate will have experience implementing data platforms at Enterprise level, developing innovative engineering solutions, and driving large-scale data platform design and development.

 

Key skills and qualifications include: technical leadership, AWS expertise, object-oriented languages and databases, Data Lakes, warehouses, and data processing tools, streaming services like Kafka, and experience leading and driving teams of platform engineers.
