Job Opportunity for Compassionate IndividualsAre you looking for a rewarding role that allows you to make a real difference in someone's life? We are currently recruiting Casual Disability Support Workers who are passionate about providing exceptional care and support to individuals living with disabilities.As a Casual Disability Support Worker, you will be working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide personalized care and support to our participants. This may include assisting with daily living activities, community access, therapy sessions, and leisure activities.To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be able to travel between participants' homes and assist with daily living and lifestyle requirements.Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing attendant care and support worker services to individuals with acquired brain injuries, spinal injuries, or physical or mental disabilities
  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Supporting participants with their personal goals and interests
  • Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary health professionals, including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech pathologists
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Work rights in Australia
  • NDIS Screening Check
  • Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate
  • Current National Police Check
  • Completion of Mandatory NDIS Workers Orientation Module
  • Current Compulsory Third Party Insurance on private vehicle
  • Current Driver's Licence
