We're seeking a strategic leader to drive the Facilities Management Services function at Transurban. As Head of Facilities, you'll play a vital role in shaping the company's workplace strategy and ensuring the delivery of safe, clean, and operational facilities across Australia and North America.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize facilities management processes and services
- Lead and develop a high-performing team to deliver business-as-usual and long-term projects
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate business processes, collaborating with the technology team to leverage technology and ensure seamless experiences for users
- Represent the facilities function across the business, establishing best practice standards and influencing stakeholders to adopt them
- Ensure safety is always the top priority, providing safe, clean, and operational facilities that comply with local laws and regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar senior facilities management role, ideally across multiple sites and regions within a corporate environment
- Experience in overseeing complex facilities portfolios, including owned and leased buildings, facilities management, consolidation projects, and contract management
- Sound knowledge of various codes and HSE regulations
- Ability to prioritize, delegate, and remain calm in a crisis, with a willingness to get hands-on to resolve issues
- Mentorship, leadership, and the ability to lead by example, influencing others through demonstration and example
