About the Role

This is a key leadership position that supports the Principal in leading the school's educational program.

We are seeking an experienced educator with strong leadership skills to join our team and contribute to the development of high-quality student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Principal in leading the school's educational program, including curriculum development, teaching and learning, and student assessment and reporting.
  • Manage significant areas or functions within the school, such as teacher professional development, staff supervision, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve student outcomes, particularly in areas of academic achievement and social-emotional wellbeing.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and the broader community, promoting a culture of respect, inclusivity, and social responsibility.
  • Lead and manage change initiatives, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve strategic goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Outstanding capacity for visionary and exemplary educational leadership of a school or college.
  • Highly developed skills in leading and managing change, including the leadership of others in the process of change.
  • Exemplary values appropriate to the development of student learning, with a demonstrated capacity to achieve high quality student outcomes.
  • A clear capacity to foster a learning environment that takes account of the individual needs of students and helps students to develop their special abilities and talents.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills in individual, small group, and community contexts.
