Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Care Team Member to join our animal care team in Sydney's Southern Suburbs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Caring for boarding and daycare pets, including feeding, grooming support, and enrichment
  • Conducting health checks and monitoring wellbeing
  • Cleaning and maintaining high standards of hygiene across the facility
  • Supervising animals and managing behaviours to ensure safety and comfort
  • Delivering excellent customer service at drop-off and pick-up
  • Assisting on reception, including booking management, enquiries, payments, and retail sales
  • Supporting your team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in animal care, pet retail, dog daycare, vet clinics, or similar
  • Confident handling animals of all sizes, with a calm and caring approach
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate professionally
  • Basic computing skills with the ability to quickly learn new software systems
  • Ability to use initiative, seek opportunities to learn, and develop new skills
  • Physically fit and comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather
  • Able to work at pace while maintaining attention to detail
  • A good communicator and positive person who enjoys teamwork
