Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing regions with achievable work packages across their sites, managing supply, labour availability and financial constraints to ensure planned maintenance is happening in a controlled way in line with corporate targets.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance scheduling, planning and organisation skills with the ability to deliver on simultaneous projects with competing priorities. They will also possess high-level communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with proven ability to foster strong working relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritise all PM/STATUTORY/MEC/MEU strategy tasks into the 1-month rolling plan.
  • Confirm the correct tasks are listed and confirm life, prioritised based on asset criticality, fuel burn/load factors/site conditions, OEM input and industry knowledge.
  • Hand over the plan to the Regional Planners to execute 2 weeks prior to the planned event so they can schedule the works.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering/related discipline or a nationally recognised mechanical trade qualification.
  • Experience in maintenance of heavy mobile earth moving equipment, in particular CAT, Hitachi and Komatsu.
  • Demonstrated experience in maintenance scheduling.
  • Effective planning and organising skills with the ability to deliver on simultaneous projects with competing priorities.
  • High-level communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with proven ability to foster strong working relationships.
  • Ability to deliver to deadlines.
  • Substantial knowledge and experience utilising computer programs including Computerised Maintenance Management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
