Salary

Job Description
This role involves gaining and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the financial reporting structure and general ledger. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, audits, and reporting. Additionally, they will oversee the finance department to ensure adherence to accounting standards and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gaining and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the financial reporting structure and general ledger.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, audits, and reporting.
  • Overseeing the finance department to ensure adherence to accounting standards and company procedures.
  • Managing and supervising daily accounting functions, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to Headquarters (HQ) and compliance with ATO activities.
  • Assisting the MD and CFO with financial matters, particularly in budgeting, forecasting, and year-end audit activities.
  • Reviewing and analyzing departmental work to identify opportunities for more efficient procedures and resource usage while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Monitoring and reconciling the general ledger to ensure data accuracy.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor/Masters degree in business specialising in Accounting or similar. Additionally, they should be CPA/CA qualified with a minimum of 5 years' work experience as a Management Accountant or similar. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also essential.
