We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate IT Infrastructure Manager to oversee the management and maintenance of server SOEs and deployed operating environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain server SOEs and deployed operating environments (Windows/Linux), including patching, support, and automation improvements.
- Configure and manage hypervisors, backup, and storage solutions.
- Respond to incidents and events, conduct root cause analysis, maintain runbooks, and provide escalation support.
- Develop and maintain operational procedures and system configurations, ensuring they meet compliance standards and supporting improvements through structured change management processes.
- Implement and maintain security controls and monitoring profiles, collaborating with teams to drive automation and operational efficiencies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing and supporting Windows and Linux environments, virtualisation platforms, and underlying infrastructure.
- Familiarity with monitoring and eventing tools (VMware, Splunk, PRTG), and backup technologies such as Commvault.
- Knowledge of cloud-based networking concepts and services, particularly within platforms like Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Able to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team environment, contributing to shared goals and supporting colleagues across various domains.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills, with a methodical approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining clear, accurate documentation.
