About the Role:
The Commercial Controller will be responsible for the financial management of daily sales, monthly sales forecast, and support budget/planning process. This role will report to the Senior Commercial Controller and manage trading terms and customer contracts. The Commercial Controller will also be required to manage relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders to prepare annual budgets and revised quarterly budgets and monthly financial forecasts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business planning and optimization: Assist in preparation of Brand and Customer Budget/quarterly revised budget and monthly sales forecast.
- Monitoring of in-month tracking sales and discount/promotions based on customer contract and trading terms.
- Manage cost of sales and gross margin.
- Customer/commercial contracts and trading term management: maintain large volume of customer/commercial contracts and trading terms. Validate renew and new contracts and manage through P&L.
- Business partnering:
- Using the L'Oreal knowledge as well as market and financial expertise to understand, improve, and challenge overall effectiveness of the business.
- Projects: lead and be part of all projects of commercial and leading financial projects relating commercial and category.
- Assist in monitoring of in-month tracking gross-to-net and gross margin.
- Internal Control:
- Ensure group norms are respected at all times.
- End-to-end deal-to-cash management with customers.
- Provide finance training and development to commercial team and other stakeholders.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
CA/CPA qualified with minimum years post-qualified experience in large organization and ideally FMCG industry while not essential.A commercial mindset demonstrating practical business acumen with experience providing business insights.You will be required to work well under pressure with multiple competing deadlines and changing challenges.Ability to review high volume information output for accuracy and plausibility, detecting and reconciling anomalies quickly.SAP experience and Advanced Excel skills must have with experience of data analysis and modelling.Strong Communication skills – written and verbal and sound presentation skills.Highly organized with prioritization skills.About the Division:
