About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Broker Support Officer to join our team at Australian Military Bank. As a key member of our broker channel, you will play a critical role in growing our lending and associated product portfolio through mortgage brokers nationally.

Your primary responsibility will be to process and manage broker introduced applications from receipt to post-settlement, ensuring timely decision-making and effective communication with brokers. You will also be responsible for maintaining speed to decision (SLAs) and monitoring broker submissions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and manage broker home loan applications
  • Manage high pipeline volumes in a fast-paced environment
  • Manage SLAs and ensure timely decision-making
  • Communicate effectively with brokers and internal stakeholders
  • Refer and complete cross-sell opportunities
  • Ensure credit quality meets our standards
  • Complete aggregator and broker compliance reviews
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Strong understanding of diverse products, processes, and regulatory requirements
  • Previous experience working with brokers/aggregators (preferred but not essential)
  • Knowledge of Australian Military Bank's products, processes, and systems
  • Excellent verbal, numerical, and literacy skills
  • Computer skills, including email, internet, and Microsoft applications
