Overview of the Position:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced retail professional to fill the role of Retail Representative.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring our brand's products are well-represented and prominently displayed in stores.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting regular store visits to assess product displays, stock levels, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Verifying correct pricing and promotional materials, reporting any discrepancies.
  • Collaborating with store managers to enhance product placement and secure additional display opportunities.

Sell-In to Stores:

Negotiating with store managers to increase orders and shelf space.Highlighting product advantages, market trends, and promotions to gain retail support.Negotiating for premium product placement and adequate stock levels.

Relationship Building & Support:

Building relationships with store managers and key staff to promote the brand.Training retail staff on product features, benefits, and sales techniques.Being the main contact for your territory, resolving issues and questions.

Reporting & Insights:

Reporting on product performance, feedback, and competitor activity.Reporting on store conditions and challenges.Sharing insights to improve marketing and sales strategies.

Promotional Activities & Merchandising:

Supporting events, launches, and in-store activations.Maintaining and replenishing displays and coordinating rollouts with head office.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail, sales, or merchandising roles.
  • Experience in a field-based position with a focus on retail and sales is preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Effective organisational and time management skills.
  • Basic analytical skills for interpreting data.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail management software.

Requirements:

  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable car.
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities.
