Job Title: Manager City Environment

Our client, EBR, is seeking a highly skilled Manager for City Environment to join their Environmental Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing environmental policy and strategy, catchment management, asbestos and construction waste management, and providing specialist technical advice on environmental matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of environmental policy and strategy to ensure the effective management of environmental resources.
  • Manage catchment management programs to protect and conserve environmental resources.
  • Provide specialist technical advice on environmental matters, including asbestos and construction waste management.
  • Collaborate with the City Environment Department to ensure the effective delivery of environmental policy, strategy, and plan.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree qualifications and extensive practical experience in environment sustainability, biodiversity, climate change, and catchment management.
  • High-level skills and experience in leading and managing a diverse team in the delivery of specialist professional programs and initiatives.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in the management of asbestos-related matters, including construction and demolition waste.
