About the Opportunity

Mercy Health is seeking an experienced Allied Health Assistant to join our Community Occupational Therapy team in Parkville. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality client care under the supervision of our Occupational Therapists, supporting positive outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, evidence-based, person-centered care and supports under supervision and delegation of OTs.
  • Nonclinical support to OT team/department.
  • Participate in supervision of Allied Health Assistant students as required.
What You'll Bring
  • Minimum of 2 years demonstrated experience as an AHA, preferably within a community setting.
  • Cert IV Allied Health Assistant.
  • A full driver's license.
  • Excellent clinical, time management, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
  • A compassionate, flexible, and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
  • The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
