Job Title: Procurement Specialist - Technology

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to manage contracts for our Technology function through the contract lifecycle. As the ideal candidate, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve sound commercial outcomes.

  • Negotiate tenders and support commercial discussions on new engagements and contract renewals.
  • Act as a single point of contact during contract negotiations.
  • Work closely with the legal team on all new contracts and renewals.
  • Collaborate across business units to obtain stakeholder input and align goals for optimal commercial outcomes.
  • Proactively work with key suppliers to improve value, efficiency, and effectiveness delivered to the organization.
  • Participate in developing, piloting, testing, and implementing contract management and procurement tools.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years experience in Category, Contract Management, or Senior Procurement Roles.
  • Specialised knowledge of procurement concepts, processes, activities, and trends.
  • Experience in negotiating and ability to think outside the box.
  • Experience in commercial analysis, analytical interpretation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Specialised knowledge and understanding of contractual documents and clauses.
  • Influencing and stakeholder engagement, change management, and customer service skills.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or CIPS qualifications desirable.
  • Previous experience working on SaaS and other Technology Categories.
  • Previous experience working on Corporate Services Categories.
