Strategic Business Advisor

This role represents a key leadership position within our business services and advisory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, leading teams in public practice, and driving workflow management to ensure deadlines, budgets, and ATO lodgement requirements are met.
- Lead a team of six accountants, developing future leaders and driving workflow management to ensure productivity and efficiency.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance, forecasting, tax planning, and business advisory services.
- Review and resolve complex tax and accounting matters, providing technical expertise and guidance.
- Manage client portfolios and lead teams in public practice.
- Develop strong advisory skills with the ability to deliver insights beyond compliance.
- Collaborate with Directors on firm-wide strategy, business development, and growth initiatives.
- Represent the firm at client meetings, industry forums, and networking events.
- CA/CPA qualified with at least 7+ years experience in business services and tax.
- Experience managing client portfolios and leading teams in public practice.
- Strong advisory skills with the ability to deliver insights beyond compliance.
- Advanced technical knowledge of tax, accounting, and legislative requirements.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring capability.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-first mindset.
