Our Structural Integrity division conducts comprehensive inspections within the Australian resource sectors for prominent clients. As a Structural Engineer, you will experience a mix of office duties and fieldwork, playing a crucial role in executing thorough inspections and evaluations of mining assets for several leading clients. When not in the office, you will have the chance to engage directly with operations by visiting various sites.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate from our centrally located office while traveling to client sites for regular inspections.
- In collaboration with senior engineers, conduct structural integrity assessments of existing mining assets, identifying typical issues such as impact damage, corrosion, and fatigue.
- Evaluate static machinery and determine structural soundness.
- Draft detailed inspection reports and propose repair strategies.
- Perform risk assessments related to structural components.
- Adhere to specific safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) standards while ensuring compliance with relevant technical and regulatory requirements.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess 3 to 5 years of experience in structural design or inspections. Additionally, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Familiarity with engineering standards such as AS4324.1, AS1170, AS4100, and AS3600.
- A solid understanding of asset management and civil engineering practices.
- The ability to travel frequently to remote sites.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A valid driver's license and relevant safety certifications.
