Seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team.

A Behaviour Support Practitioner plays a vital role in providing support and guidance to individuals with challenging behaviour. This is an excellent opportunity for you to utilise your skills and experience to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

About the Role:

This role will see you working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive behaviour support services. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing behaviour support plans, and implementing strategies to address challenging behaviours.

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including those with intellectual disabilities, autism, and other complex needs. Your expertise and knowledge will be utilised to develop tailored support plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the causes of challenging behaviour
  • Develop behaviour support plans that are tailored to the individual's needs
  • Implement strategies to address challenging behaviours and promote positive change
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support services
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A strong understanding of behaviour support principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
