About this role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in the Wollongong region. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our customers in their own homes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Delivering domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry services, to ensure our customers' homes are safe and comfortable.
  • Assisting with meal preparation and shopping, promoting healthy eating and independence.
  • Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities, enhancing our customers' overall wellbeing.

Requirements:

  • You must be a compassionate and empathetic individual who is passionate about assisting older members of our community.
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle are essential for this role.
  • You should be able to work independently, finding solutions to everyday problems while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • A minimum of three days' availability, Monday to Friday, is required for this position.

What to expect:

  • We will perform a National Police Check/Right to Work and confirm evidence of COVID vaccination before joining our team.
  • A short online assessment will be conducted to gauge your suitability for the role.
  • Our onboarding process will ensure you are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in your position.
