Job Overview

We are seeking a professional driver with extensive experience in transporting oversized and heavy machinery to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating heavy vehicles across Western Australia and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and transport legislation.

About the Role

As a Heavy Haulage Truck Driver, you will be part of a high-performing team that prioritizes safety, integrity, and respect on every job. You will operate multi-combination (MC) trucks for heavy haulage operations across WA and transport large, oversize, and heavy plant/machinery with precision and care.

Key aspects of this role include manoeuvring floats into and around tight quarry and construction site locations, performing thorough pre-start vehicle checks and maintaining accurate records, completing all required documentation, including delivery dockets, trip sheets and fatigue records, complying with all Main Roads WA permits and Chain of Responsibility obligations, and liaising with operations and maintenance teams to ensure safe and timely deliveries.

Responsibilities
  • Operating multi-combination (MC) trucks for heavy haulage operations across WA
  • Transporting large, oversize, and heavy plant/machinery with precision and care
  • Manoeuvring floats into and around tight quarry and construction site locations
  • Performing thorough pre-start vehicle checks and maintaining accurate records
  • Completing all required documentation, including delivery dockets, trip sheets and fatigue records
  • Complying with all Main Roads WA permits and Chain of Responsibility obligations
  • Liaising with operations and maintenance teams to ensure safe and timely deliveries
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in the heavy haulage/oversize transport sector
  • Must have a valid Australian MC Driver's Licence
  • Must have proven experience maneuvering floats into and around tight quarry and construction site locations
  • Must hold a current Commercial Heavy Vehicle Driver's Medical (MRWA Standards)
  • Must have a current Fatigue Management Certificate (within 3 years)
  • Must have a Construction Safety White Card
  • Experience in quarry operations is highly regarded
  • Understanding of safe loading procedures and manual handling techniques
  • Understanding of the Chain of Responsibility Legislation
