Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team as a Speech Pathology Coach. In this role, you will work closely with early childhood professionals to enhance outcomes for children and families within the early learning sector.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Implementing evidence-informed capacity building approaches to support the progression of children's learning, development, and well-being.
- Collaborating with Centre Directors, Educators, and other stakeholders to observe, identify, and support the inclusion and participation of children.
- Building strong relationships with local services and streamlining referral pathways into and out of the centre.
- Maintaining close liaison with the National Manager – Speech Pathology and contributing to the development of a cohesive team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in speech pathology or a related field.
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and coaching skills.
- Strong understanding of child development (birth - 5 years).
- Ability to document, analyse, and report on relevant key performance indicators.
