As a key member of our SOC team, you will be responsible for monitoring customer environments to identify cyber threats and performing investigation/response activities in line with documented processes.

">Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring customer environments, including AARNet, to identify potential security risks;">
  • Performing investigations and responses to security incidents, working closely with internal and external stakeholders;">
  • Mentoring and assisting junior SOC Analysts to develop their skills and knowledge;">
  • Working collaboratively with other teams, including incident response and engineering, to resolve complex security issues;">
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives within the SOC team to enhance processes and procedures.">
">Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a combination of technical and soft skills, including:

  • Strong knowledge of network technologies, including DNS, web, and mail protocols;">
  • Experience with SIEM and UEBA technologies, as well as SOAR and EDR tools;">
  • Practical networking experience, including TCP/IP and other network protocols;">
  • Ability to document and explain technical details clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences;">
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills, with a strong attention to detail.">
