About Our Parks & Gardens Apprentice Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an apprentice in parks and gardens. The role will involve working across all facets of parks and gardens, helping to achieve the objectives of the Open Space & Environment team.

  • A 3-year apprenticeship offering hands-on training and TAFE studies
  • Based from Leongatha and Foster depots with a supportive team environment
  • A unique chance to gain horticultural qualifications and experience in gardening, landscaping, and maintenance of public spaces

As an apprentice, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, learning from experienced professionals and developing your skills in parks and horticulture.

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about starting their career in parks and gardens and is committed to completing a formal qualification. You should have a keen interest in parks and horticulture, be motivated to learn and take on new challenges, and be a team player with a positive can-do attitude.
