About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Corporate. As a key member of our Risk and Sustainability function, you will be responsible for developing, planning, and implementing health and safety frameworks and programs to prevent injuries, manage risks, and elevate employee awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Communicate effectively with the team and broader organisation to implement the health and safety strategy and planning.
  2. Monitor and review performance against health and safety key performance indicators.
  3. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements impacting health, safety, and injury management, and their effect on operational practices within our compliance framework.
  4. Develop systems to empower employees to enhance workplace health and safety through participation in committees, hazard identification, and adoption of safe work practices.
  5. Develop and continuously improve health and safety frameworks, policies, processes, and procedures to ensure stakeholders understand compliance with regulations, business rules, and operational activities.
  6. Provide expert guidance on understanding and implementing policies and standards, address complex inquiries and problems, and empower others to make informed decisions.
