About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Administration Assistant to join our Whitehaven Coal Gunnedah Open Cut Maintenance team. This role is accountable for providing high-level administrative and clerical support to enable the smooth operation of the maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage timesheets for the team
  • Open and close out work orders
  • Support the Operations Manager with administrative and clerical assistance
  • Liaise with vendors in relation to invoices and quotes
  • Assist with scheduling repairs and entering defects into the system to ensure NHVR compliance
  • Upload training documents and manage the skills matrix register

Requirements

  • Clerical and administration experience, ideally with qualifications in Office Administration - Cert III or IV
  • High attention to detail
  • High-level written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in a maintenance workshop atmosphere highly regarded
  • Experience with Pulse Software highly regarded
