About the Role

AusNet Services Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Accounting Lead to join our Group Reporting & Accounting Management team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our regulatory accounts and reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and project manage the audit of all reporting to the Australian Energy Regulator (AER)
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to regulatory accounting
  • Reconcile statutory, regulatory, and internal management reporting
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders at the Australian Energy Regulator (AER)
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably in a utilities and/or infrastructure complex environment
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent
  • CA or CPA qualified
  • Strong interpersonal skills to influence and drive outcomes with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to provide value-add detailed review
  • Growth mindset and ability to take on large amounts of new information
