Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and driven Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team at Mercure Perth. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences across multiple food and beverage outlets.

About Us

Mercure Perth is conveniently located in the heart of Perth city, with easy access to major shopping, entertainment, and nightlife areas. Our hotel features 239 well-appointed rooms, a great restaurant, a cafe, bar, heated rooftop swimming pool, spa, sauna, and gym. We cater to business guests with 6 modern meeting rooms, accommodating up to 350 delegates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set-up and break-down events, including service across multiple function rooms and event spaces
  • Welcome guests to our food and beverage outlets, provide warm and personalized service, and tend to each guest with a smile
  • Understand menu content, any menu changes, and promotional activities to ensure seamless delivery
  • Manage customer accounts within our POS system and maintain high standards of settlement accuracy
  • Prepare beverages, act as a barista or bartender as directed, and promote our outlets to drive revenue growth
  • Provide consistent and high-quality service, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all guests
  • Contribute to the implementation of innovative ideas to enhance guest experiences and drive sales
  • Promote a safe workplace by recognizing hazards and promoting general WHS practices
Requirements
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification
  • An entrepreneurial style and drive for conferencing and event operations
  • Experience setting-up, servicing, and breaking down events
  • Flexibility regarding work availability, as we operate 7 days a week, including public holidays
Salary and Benefits

As a Hospitality Team Member - Food and Beverage at Mercure Perth, you can expect a competitive salary range of AU$50,000 - AU$60,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also enjoy a range of benefits, including:
