Early Childhood Educator Role

The role of Early Childhood Educator is a critical position in the delivery of high-quality education and care services to young children. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a key role in shaping the learning experience for children aged 0-5 years.

This role requires an experienced and self-motivated individual who can develop and implement innovative educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of children. You will work closely with a team of professionals responsible for room management, child health and safety, education and planning, and enriching children's lives through play-based learning.

Key Requirements
  • A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or near completion of this qualification is essential for this role.
  • You must have a working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and be able to develop and implement a high-quality educational program.
  • Experience in a similar role in an education and care setting is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to work cooperatively and flexibly within a team environment is necessary.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are required for effective collaboration with children, parents, and team members.
  • Current approved First Aid, Emergency Asthma Management, and Anaphylaxis Management training is mandatory.
  • Ability to take on the role of Responsible Person when required is also essential.

This role requires a pre-employment health assessment, which includes a functional, audio, and drug & alcohol screen.

Salary: $1,044.00 - $1,096.90 per week + super.

Position Status: Permanent full-time.

Hours of Work: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 8am and 6pm on a rotating roster.
