Job Title: Parts Interpreter

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Parts Interpreter to join our team.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring accurate and timely information regarding customers' parts requirements.
  • Locate Cat parts for customers and technicians.
  • Deal with front counter enquiries, both face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Follow up and action outstanding jobs related to parts inquiries and customer concerns.
  • System-based parts interpreting using digital and print resources.
  • Participate in an after-hours 'on-call' roster for emergency parts supply.
  • Assist with warehouse operations, emergency runs, remanufacturing and hose assembly.
  • Ensure company accounts receivable processes are adhered to in relation to parts sales transactions.

**Requirements:

  • Possess mechanical knowledge and a background in earthmoving and/or automotive.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a positive attitude.
  • Experience working on different systems/databases.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Current drivers and forklift licences.
  • Knowledge of Caterpillar products (preferred but not essential).
