About the RoleThis position plays a vital part in our multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring critically ill patients receive outstanding care. Key responsibilities include:
- Transporting critically ill patients according to established policies and procedures.
- Providing support, supervision, and training for registrars.
- Ensuring accurate and relevant patient documentation during retrieval missions.
To excel in this role, you will possess:
- A medical qualification (MBBS or equivalent) registered in Victoria.
- Appropriate specialist medical qualifications (FACEM, FANZCA, FCICM, or equivalent).
- Previous experience in medical retrieval is desirable.
- Competence in video/telehealth consultation and interagency coordination are also desirable.
