This role involves working closely with gastroenterology trainees to share registrar responsibilities, including daily ward rounds, consultations, outpatient clinics, and liaison with other clinical services. You will be involved in unit educational and audit activities, such as journal clubs, multidisciplinary meetings, morbidity and mortality meetings, and research activities.
This position includes rostered after-hours and weekend on-call shifts, supported by consultant gastroenterologists. As a medical practitioner, you will require:
- MBBS or equivalent qualification
- Eligibility for AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner
- Completion of the RACP Written and Clinical Exam
- Valid Australian driver's license
