The Opportunity:

As a Layout Design Engineer, you will lead transmission line layout design services, ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant solutions across all project phases. You will act as the Responsible Person for design, scoping, budgets, and timeframes, providing expert advice and decision-making support to project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement transmission line layout designs.
  • Manage design, scoping, budgets, and timeframes for projects.
  • Oversee Powerlink's PLS-CADD platform.
  • Coach, mentor, and collaborate with team members and contractors.

About You:

You'll bring specialist expertise in transmission line layout design with proven experience using PLS-Cadd. Your technical background includes a thorough understanding of conductor mechanics, material strengths, and the cost drivers that shape project delivery. You're confident using design and drafting tools such as AutoCAD and have practical experience with engineering survey methods.
