Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Program Officer to join our team at the Department of Health (WA Health). The successful candidate will provide data review and analytical expertise to support senior staff in the development, evaluation, and reporting of safety and quality programs and policies for the WA health system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data analysis and review to inform program and policy development
  • Provide analytical expertise to support senior staff in the development of safety and quality programs and policies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address gaps in data and program implementation
  • Develop and maintain databases and data systems to support program evaluation and reporting
  • Prepare and present reports and data visualizations to stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in a field such as data analysis, policy development, or quality assurance
  • Proven experience in data analysis and review, with a strong understanding of data visualization and reporting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior staff and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
