Industrial Welding Supervisor

The primary objective of this role is to supervise and inspect welding processes to ensure compliance with relevant quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising welders on the shop floor to ensure adherence to established procedures.
- Conducting thorough inspections of welds to identify any defects or inconsistencies.
- Reviewing and approving welding quality documents, including WPQR/WPS/NDT reports.
- Developing and implementing training programs for welders to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless integration of welding operations.
For this position, we are seeking an individual with formal training in mechanical engineering or a related field, certification as a welding supervisor or inspector, and extensive knowledge of welding processes and metallurgy.
Key qualifications and skills include:
- Formal education in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Certification as a welding supervisor or inspector.
- Strong understanding of welding processes, including theory and practical applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to read and interpret complex technical drawings.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as AS/NZS and ISO.
