About the Business Manager - Channel Plus Role

The Business Manager of Channels Plus will be responsible for driving the commercial growth of our Channels Plus product, working under the guidance of the General Manager of Little Hotelier & Channels Plus. This role will focus on the successful execution of go-to-market strategies to scale the product, business process optimization, partner optimization, and customer experience.

To be successful in this role, the Business Manager will have the ability to operate effectively through influencing peers across functions and work closely with a broad range of stakeholders within the business. Channels Plus plays a significant role in SiteMinder's growth aspirations, and this role will be part of a tight-knit team working with colleagues globally to help define new initiatives and deliver frictionless customer experiences as we grow and scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ownership of Channels Plus business prioritization and impact, while working closely with Product Managers on future product-led growth strategies.
  • Accountable for the delivery of initiatives to scale and optimize the 2-sided marketplace, working closely with our GTM, Ecosystem, and external partner teams.
  • Single point of contact for commercial escalations for Channels Plus product as well as day-to-day oversight of business operations.
  • Work closely with internal teams including Partnerships, Product & Engineering, Sales, Finance, Onboarding, Customer Success & Marketing to execute and improve complex business processes, and deliver smooth customer and partner experience on Channels Plus.
  • Engage with external partners, including online travel agents and payment processing partners, to resolve issues and improve business processes.
Requirements
  • Excel in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting or exceeding project goals.
  • Experience in hotel distribution, pricing, or other marketplace analysis/optimization.
  • Experience in conversion optimization on OTAs will be particularly well-regarded.
  • Demonstrate a hands-on approach to problem-solving and task execution.
  • Ability to drive successful Go-to-Market programs with a strong stakeholder management skill set and analytical capabilities.
  • Consultative approach, ability to operate by influencing peers across functions and develop solutions or business cases to be discussed with senior and Executive leadership team.
  • Strong communication skills to build rapport and trusted relationships with staff and customers.
  • Experience working within an SLA and KPI-driven environment, and with CRM systems.
  • Proven ability to work independently while recognizing when to seek guidance or escalate issues.
  • Basic SQL experience is a plus.
