  • Provide clinical cardiology diagnostic and database services on an in-patient and out-patient basis.
  • Perform haemodynamic recording and monitoring.
  • Conduct physiological measurements and analysis.
  • Provide cardiac technical troubleshooting on equipment as required.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

  • Hold a bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) and hold a Post Graduate Degree in Sonography or qualifications or competencies deemed equivalent by the employer.
  • Perform Cardiac Sonography or Electrophysiological Studies (EPS).
  • Independently identify and interpret 12-Lead ECGs (normal and abnormal) and analyze rhythm.
  • Relevant experience in Cardiac Catheterisation &/or Cardiac Devices.
  • Formal qualification in Echocardiography &/or Electrophysiological Study.
