The OpportunityThis role will oversee a team of approximately 700 professionals, ensuring the delivery of services to over 800,000 passengers annually, while upholding the highest standards of safety, reliability, and customer service.
The successful candidate will lead the strategic direction of Queensland Rail's services across the vast and diverse regions of Queensland.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and inspire a high-performing team across Queensland Rail's Regional Network.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimise rail operations, ensuring efficiency and service excellence.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry partners, and community representatives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, balancing the need for operational stability with transformative change.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, fostering a culture of safety and risk management.
- Manage the financial performance of the regional operations, including budgeting, cost control, and resource optimisation.
