About the Role

The purpose of this position is to drive business growth and profitability for PFD Food Services by achieving sales, inventory, debtors, and market share objectives for the branch. As a Sales and Operations leader, you will be responsible for overseeing branch operations, coordinating day-to-day administration, and executing sales initiatives through your sales and customer service teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share
  • Manage branch cash flow and expenditure to ensure financial stability and profitability
  • Lead and motivate sales and customer service teams to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Implement staff evaluation, recruitment, and training programs to ensure a high-performing team
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to drive business growth and profitability
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
