Support Care Role

We are seeking an individual with a caring attitude and passion for enhancing the lives of older people.

This role involves providing high-quality care and support to residents, helping them live with dignity and purpose. You will assist with daily tasks, provide emotional support, and offer companionship to residents.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personal care assistance, including showering, dressing, grooming, and feeding
  • Supporting residents with mobility and physical assistance
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Monitoring and documenting residents' progress, ensuring their needs and preferences are met

You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver person-centred care while fostering a positive and inclusive environment within the facility.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification, a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance ID
  • All required qualifications must be recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework

You will also have:

  • A passion for working with older people and enhancing their quality of life
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • An understanding of the importance of maintaining residents' dignity and independence
