Job Opportunity: Schedules Coordinator

A dynamic role has emerged for a Schedules Coordinator to join our team in Canberra. This is a fast-paced and varied position, offering a unique chance to gain behind-the-scenes insight into broadcast media and advance your career in the industry.

As a Schedules Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and finalising daily television schedules for on-air broadcast.
  • Managing commercial break content and quality-checking prior to broadcast.
  • Confirming that finalised schedules adhere to industry regulations.
  • Liaising with other departments and stakeholders to ensure all required data is correctly placed in daily schedules.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be a proactive, self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills. You should also be organised, meticulous, and able to work to tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparing & finalising daily television schedules for on-air broadcast.
- Managing the contents of commercial breaks and quality-checking prior to broadcast.
- Confirming that finalised schedules adhere to industry regulations.
- Operating in liaison with other departments and stakeholders to ensure all required data is correctly placed in daily schedules.
