**Job Title**: Bullion Inventory Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee our bullion inventory management operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our precious metal holdings.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in jewellery or gold, with a proven track record of successfully managing large inventories. They will possess excellent organisational skills, be able to multitask effectively and have a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily inventory management of bullion and precious metals, ensuring accuracy in counts, weights and records.
  2. Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet business needs while minimising storage costs.
  3. Coordinate with suppliers, logistics teams and finance departments for inventory replenishment and reconciliation.
  4. Perform regular audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly.
  5. Implement and maintain secure storage protocols, adhering to all industry standards and regulatory requirements for handling precious metals.
  6. Manage and maintain accurate documentation for inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers and shipments.
  7. Develop and improve inventory management systems to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant financial, legal and regulatory requirements related to bullion handling.
  9. Collaborate with other departments, including sales and procurement, to forecast inventory needs and optimise stock levels.
  10. Prepare reports on inventory status, trends and risks for senior management.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with bullion trading or financial markets.
  • Familiarity with regulatory bodies such as the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) or Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
  • Certification in inventory management (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) is a plus.
