Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team based in Brisbane, Australia.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with purchasing, goods receipt and dispatch to ensure seamless inventory management
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and procure replenishments using industry-standard software
  • Coordinate regular stock takes across the warehouse
  • Develop and maintain product bills of material for all items
  • Continuously improve procurement strategies to optimize costs
  • Oversee the receipt and dispatch of goods, ensuring accurate inventory records
  • Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize holding costs and maximize system accuracy

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in mining/metal fabrication industries
  • In-depth knowledge of fabrication, welding and manufacturing processes
  • Able to interpret technical drawings
  • Familiarity with planning and scheduling procedures
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Prior experience in similar roles (highly regarded)
  • Current Forklift Licence
