Job Description

As an Accounts Payable Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization's finances.

You will be responsible for managing a range of accounts payable duties, including processing invoices, matching purchase orders, and maintaining accurate records in the accounting system.

Additionally, you will respond to supplier and subcontractor queries via phone and email, prepare payments, reconcile creditor accounts, and manage remittance advice.

Furthermore, you will support with purchase order management and invoice analysis across journal accounts, handle kitchen duties, mail collection, archiving, and general administrative tasks as rostered.

Assisting with parcel packaging and shipping, spreadsheet maintenance, and banking tasks will also be part of your responsibilities.

Providing backup support across admin functions and processing credit applications will require a proactive and helpful approach to day-to-day support tasks.

This is a hands-on role that requires great organisational skills and attention to detail, as well as good communication skills, both written and verbal.
