Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Supervisor to join our team at 309 FLSmidth Pty. Ltd. as a key member of our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our site service team, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of maintenance services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and manage a team of site service technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of tasks and projects.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Coordinate and plan maintenance activities, including predictive and preventative maintenance tasks, to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out to the highest standards, meeting customer specifications and expectations.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, stakeholders, and team members to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve problems and issues in a timely and effective manner, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the mining industry.
  • Qualifications: Trade-qualified fitter or mechanical engineer, with a strong understanding of maintenance practices and procedures.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Education: Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
