Job Description

The Financial Controller is responsible for driving financial excellence across the business. This role leads financial stewardship, governance, and scalability efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee financial reporting to deliver accurate and timely accounts, management reports, and dashboards.
  • Build a robust financial control framework ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax obligations, and audit requirements.
  • Design and implement finance systems and processes to support business growth including automation and cash flow optimisation.
  • Provide financial modelling pricing analysis and scenario planning to support strategic decisions.
  • Partner with client-facing teams on projects such as M&A restructuring and due diligence.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team building financial capability across the broader business.
About You

To be considered for this role you must demonstrate:

  • CA/CPA qualification with at least 5+ years' experience in financial control or senior accounting.
  • Experience in consulting professional services or scaling businesses.
  • Strong technical expertise in reporting compliance and cash flow management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple entities and implement scalable finance processes.
  • Proficiency with Xero and other financial systems.
  • Exceptional leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
