Job Opportunity: In-Home Care Assistant

About this role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate In-Home Care Assistant to provide high-quality care services to our valued clients in their own homes.

This part-time opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently and building strong relationships with seniors.

  • Assist clients with personal care activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Provide support with mobility, including transferring and ambulating clients.
  • Prepare and serve meals, and support clients with feeding as needed.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and tidying.
  • Monitor clients' health and wellbeing, and report any concerns to the care team.
  • Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship.
  • Adhere to all safety and care protocols to ensure the highest standards of client care.
Requirements:
  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 12 months' experience working as an In-Home Care Assistant in an aged care or in-home care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • A caring, empathetic, and patient approach to supporting older adults.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • A current Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.
  • A passion for making a positive difference in the lives of our clients.
